Dental insurance can be confusing. Deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods and “what’s covered” all vary from plan to plan. Our team works with insurance every day, and we’re happy to do the legwork for you.
Before treatment, you’ll get a treatment plan that lists every fee and shows what we expect your plan to pay. We submit your claims for you and work to help you receive the full benefits your plan allows. If something doesn’t make sense, just ask. We’d rather answer questions up front than have you surprised later.

We’re in network with most PPO dental plans. Plans and networks change often, so the quickest way to know for sure is to call us with your plan name. We’ll check your benefits for you.

Using your insurance with us, step by step
- Call or book. Give us your plan name when you schedule. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID to your visit.
- We check your benefits. Our team checks your coverage so you know what your plan is expected to pay.
- You see the plan first. If you need treatment, you’ll get a written plan with every fee and your estimated share before anything begins.
- We file the claim. We submit your claims for you. Your share is payable at the time of treatment.
- Follow-up. If your plan hasn’t paid within 30 days, please contact your insurance company and let us know so we can help.
Tips to make the most of your benefits
Use your checkups
Many plans cover routine checkups and cleanings at a high level. Skipping them leaves benefits on the table.
Know your plan year
Many plans reset their benefits at the start of each plan year, and unused benefits usually don't carry over. Check when yours resets, often January 1.
Plan bigger treatment
Larger treatment can sometimes be split across two plan years so you can use two years of benefits. Ask us if that makes sense for you.
Treat problems early
A small filling usually costs less, for you and your plan, than a crown or root canal later.
Insurance, specials and other ways to pay
Our treatment specials are cash-price offers. The $749 crowns or veneers, $500 off implants and $500 off Invisalign are cash price only and aren’t eligible with insurance participation. If you have insurance, we’ll help you compare using your benefits with using a special, so you can choose what works best. See Specials for details.
Payment is due at the time of treatment. We accept cash, credit cards, CareCredit, Cherry payment plans and some in-house finance options. If you need special arrangements, please talk with our office manager before your visit. See Financing.
