All-on-4 Dental Implants in Mustang, OK

A full arch of fixed teeth held by four implants. Dr. Jon Barnes plans and builds your new smile, and the oral surgeon next door places the implants.

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 replaces all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw with one fixed bridge held in place by four dental implants. The new teeth don’t come out at night, and they don’t depend on suction or denture adhesive. Only your dentist removes them, during maintenance visits.

At Buffalo Creek Dental, All-on-4 is a team effort. Dr. Barnes leads your consultation, plans where your new teeth need to sit, and makes your new teeth. The implants are placed by the oral surgeon in the office next door. Because the offices are side by side, your records and plan move easily between them.

The back implants are often angled to make the most of the bone you have. Every mouth is different, so Dr. Barnes will walk you through each step of your plan, including what you’ll wear while you heal, before anything begins.

Patients come to us for full-arch care from Mustang, Yukon, Tuttle and southwest Oklahoma City.

Who is a good candidate?

Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and some medications can slow healing. Dr. Barnes will review your health history and imaging before recommending a fixed arch.

What to expect

  1. Consultation with Dr. Barnes. An exam, X-rays and the imaging needed, plus a talk about your goals, health and budget. Dr. Barnes plans your new teeth first, then the implant positions.
  2. Meeting the surgeon next door. You’ll meet the oral surgeon, who reviews the plan with you and explains what surgery day involves, including how you’ll be kept comfortable.
  3. Surgery day. At the surgeon’s office, the four implants are placed. Any teeth that can’t be saved are taken out as part of your plan.
  4. Healing. The implants need time to bond with your jawbone. You’ll eat softer foods at first and come in for healing checks, and Dr. Barnes will tell you what to expect for your case.
  5. Your final teeth. Once healing is complete, Dr. Barnes makes your final arch and secures it to the implants.
  6. Keeping it healthy. Regular cleanings and checkups at Buffalo Creek Dental help protect the implants and your gums.

Benefits of a fixed full arch

Teeth that stay put

No adhesive and no slipping. Nothing to take out at night.

Steadier chewing

The arch is held by implants in bone, not by your gums.

An open palate

An upper fixed arch doesn't cover the roof of your mouth the way a full denture does.

Helps preserve bone

Implants give your jaw the stimulation a denture can't.

Fewer implants

For many patients, four implants can hold a whole arch.

All-on-4 cost, insurance & financing

A fixed full arch is a major investment, and the fee depends on your situation: one arch or both, how many teeth need to come out, whether you need any bone grafting and the type of final teeth. That’s why we don’t quote a price before an exam. We’ll give you a clear estimate at your consultation, before any treatment begins.

Some dental plans pay toward parts of full-arch treatment. We’ll check your benefits and file claims for you. We accept cash, credit cards, CareCredit, Cherry payment plans and some in-house finance options. See Dental Insurance, Financing and our current Specials.

Why patients choose Buffalo Creek Dental for full-arch care

Dr. Barnes enjoys implant dentistry, and he’ll lay out your options side by side: a fixed arch, a snap-on implant denture or a traditional denture. With All-on-4, you have a dentist focused on how your teeth look, fit and bite, and a surgeon right next door.

Treatment at Buffalo Creek Dental is provided by Jon Barnes, DDS, general dentist. Individual results vary; Dr. Barnes will recommend treatment only after an exam.

All-on-4 FAQs

Many denture wearers ask about this. Dr. Barnes will check your gums, bone and health history and explain whether a fixed arch, a snap-on implant denture or another option fits you best.

No. A fixed arch is attached to the implants, and only your dentist removes it for maintenance. If you’d like something you can take out to clean, ask about a snap-on implant denture.

The oral surgeon next door places the implants. Dr. Barnes plans your case, makes your new teeth and handles your follow-up care.

It depends on your mouth and your plan. The implants need time to bond with bone before the final teeth go on. Dr. Barnes will walk you through the steps at your consultation.

Angled implants are designed to work with limited bone in many cases. Dr. Barnes and the surgeon will review your imaging and explain whether grafting or another approach is needed.

Brush twice a day and clean under the bridge with a water flosser or special floss. Regular professional cleanings are part of keeping it healthy.
