As custom-made devices, a patient will need to make two visits to our practice to receive an athletic mouth guard. During the first visit, we take impressions of the patient’s teeth. We then forward these impressions to a dental laboratory so that the appliance can be built. Once the device is ready, the patient can return to have the mouthguard fitted. Our mouth guards are suitable for recreational and professional athletes of all skill levels, and they can be used by both children and adults.
